One fall day in 1998 a group of Army Reservists met to discuss the idea of a reunion. This discussion and many hours of meetings and name-gathering effort led to a reunion of the 321st Engr Bn and the 471st Trans Co on 23 Sept 2000. More than 130 participants gathered for a picnic, ate, laughed and enjoyed each others’ company. Participants said “let’s do it again — with all Idaho reservists included.” In 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 we had 100-200 attendees each year – now in 2023 we’re ready again.
